Embrane Co-founder to Highlight the Value of Virtualizing Layer 3-7 Services for Increased Network Agility at Upcoming Industry Events

Dante Malagrinò to speak at Cloud Connect Chicago and J.P. Morgan’s Communications Equipment SDN Forum

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 11, 2012 – Embrane, the leader in delivering on-demand virtual network services for traditional and software defined networks (SDNs), today announced that chief executive officer and co-founder, Dante Malagrinò, will speak about the value of creating agile networks through the virtualization of Layer 3-7 network services. Malagrinò is scheduled to speak at Cloud Connect Chicago on September 13 and J.P. Morgan’s Communications Equipment SDN Forum on September 18 in Palo Alto, Calif.

The premise of both presentations is to educate enterprises, service providers and the industry at large on best practices for infusing the same level of agility currently reserved for compute and storage infrastructure into the network. Whether building an SDN or simply looking to improve their existing network, new technologies from network innovators like Embrane enable companies to non-disruptively insert on-demand Layer 3-7 network services.

“Cloud computing redefines the way IT assets are deployed and utilized, and impacts the way networks are architected,” said Malagrinò. “Until now, instantiating elastic and programmable Layer 3-7 network services in the cloud has been virtually impossible due to the limitations of current networking products. We want to enable the networking team to deliver maximum agility and value to their organizations.”
